As well as helping to teach children to learn to read we recognise that one of the greatest gifts we can give any child is a real love of reading and books.

Our school library has been set up to supplement our school reading scheme and allow the children ownership of the books they choose and stories they share at home.

The children are given time in the school library once a week and use the Young Librarian system to log their books in and out in the same way a real library would.

The library is also open at lunchtime as part of our lunchtime provision so children are able to access books and reading in their own playtimes.
