Our Vision and Values

Our school vision is the thing that drives everything we do in our school. It links to how we plan our school improvement actions, how we evaluate our curriculum and every experience we plan for our children. Our school staff and governors worked together to try to encompass this goal in the following vision statement;

Mengham Infant School will be an outstanding learning environment, within which all children feel safe, inspired and valued; a place of excellence that gives our children the foundation they need to become creative, confident, life-long learners.

Our school values form the ethos in which we aim to deliver our vision and support our children in understanding how they can become effective life long learners. Our values are embedded in our curriculum planning documents and celebrated as part of every week in school. The children were part of the process of linking our values to a sea creature that represents each value and these creatures play their parts in promoting our values around school.
